We are an independent church that stands under the authority of the Word of God. We use the Bible as our rule of faith and practice. We believe that "Where the Bible speaks, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent." It is our desire to unite on the essentials of the Bible to give loving freedom in areas of opinion. We believe that the Bible is completely accurate, inspired, and effective for changing lives for the sake of Jesus.

We believe that the universe was crafted by God (Genesis 1:1). God is the Redeemer of mankind who is all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present, and that He is represented in the Scripture as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Born in the flesh, lived a sinless life, and gave His life in death on the cross for the sake of the lost. We believe that Jesus was resurrected, and that He now sits with God the Father as the head of the Church. (John 1:1-18, Luke 3:21-22, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Ephesians 5:23)

The Holy Spirit dwells within each Christian as a comforter, counselor, and encourager. We believe that the Holy Spirit gives gifts for abundant living, and assurance for eternal life. (John 14:26, 16:5-15)

Everyone has fallen short of God's desire for our lives, deserve death, and therefore need to be reconciled to God because of our sin (Romans 3:23). We believe that any person can become a Christian by following the Biblical plan of belief in Jesus as Savior + Lord, and validating their faith through personal repentance, public profession, and water baptism by immersion. (Ephesians 2:8, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9)

WE BELIEVE

  • The hope of the Christian and the Church is in the 2nd coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the resurrection to eternal life and peace with God the Father (1 Corinthians 15, Revelation 21-22).
  • The Church is established as the body of Christ on earth for the purpose of evangelism and discipleship (Matthew 28:28-20, Ephesians 3:10-11).
  • Elders are called by God to be the shepherds of His Church, and are to exercise both Biblical oversight and pastoral care to the flock (1 Timothy 3:1-7, 1 Timothy 5:17, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 5:1-6).
  • Communion is a meal of remembrance, self-examination, and future hope established by Jesus for those in the Church. We celebrate this remembrance weekly (Matthew 26:26-30, 1 Corinthians 11:23-34).
